A 32-year-old man has been charged with four offenses in connection with a confrontation Wednesday in the parking lot of the Hilo Wal-Mart store.

A 32-year-old man has been charged with four offenses in connection with a confrontation Wednesday in the parking lot of the Hilo Wal-Mart store.

At 3 p.m. Friday, after conferring with prosecutors, detectives charged David James Nall with attempted second-degree assault, second-degree terroristic threatening, fourth-degree criminal property damage and disorderly conduct. His bail was set at $3,500.

Nall remains at the Hilo police cellblock pending his initial court appearance scheduled for Monday.
